"Happystorm are becoming something of a brand where you don't need to know the details.
You just turn up expecting something off the wall and different.
They set up strange
scenarios and immerse you right in there."
Salford Star
A short drama devised and performed by non-actors to be filmed over 2 days.
In conjunction with our critically-acclaimed play The Myth of Escape (“Enthralled” The Observer), we will be making a short drama with a group of ex-offenders and people on probation which ties in with the themes of imprisonment and freedom in the play. The group will workshop their ideas to create their own drama which the team will then help to develop into a short film.
There will also be opportunity to do a short 'making of' chapter of the film to capture the experiences of those involved in the project.
This will be in January and will probably involve several days filming, depending on the availability of the team.
You must be over 18 to apply for this position due to the nature of the work.
