Me Shoes

A manager opens up their shoe shop to find everything has been stolen (though some of the hapless staff seem totally unaware). A comedy detective comes in to find out whodunnit. Some of the staff have secrets which are most unexpected! Me Shoes (pronounced "mi shoes") is a Salford comedy short produced by Happystorm Theatre.

This is a community project working with Ex-Offenders and students from the University of Salford.

The Beginning To An End

A touching story of survival. The Beginning To An End focuses on a girl who is left abandoned outside a mental institution and the difficult process she takes to express what happened to her in a violent relationship. Based on a true story. Produced by Happystorm Theatre.

The Making Of Me Shoes and The Beginning to An End

A short documentary following the group of ex-offenders, students and professional filmmakers who worked intensively over a week to create, design and film 2 short films: Me Shoes, a comedy about a shoe shop that gets robbed and The Beginning To An End, an uplifting personal drama about a girl finding her voice after an abusive relationship.
